“Inner Journeys” workshops in Menton – 2025/26 to complement our practice…

Marie-Paule Lavogez is a student at the center, where she has been practicing for several years. She is a trained opera singer with extensive stage experience. Her repertoire is extensive and covers all the great composers: Mozart, Verdi, Puccini, Bizet, and more. She has taught for many years, both in groups and individually, and will allow us to discover the secrets, both small and large, of the power of the voice.
The vocal exploration of each individual will be at the center of these sessions. Her approach is based in particular on grounding, which can be compared to yoga.
These mornings are open to everyone, from the curious to the experienced, to explore the differences that each of us may or may not be aware of, regarding our voice, which reveals and elevates us.
“The idea behind these workshops is to meet your voice, to find it, to vocalize and sing together, for a moment of sharing where insecurities and doubts will quickly be forgotten.”
A group of up to eight participants will allow us to individually highlight our unique characteristics: range, timbre, and to explore our vocal potential.
– The price is €25 for the two hours – By reservation only –

For this back-to-school season, we are pleased to offer you a new theme: “Inner Journey.”
Marie-France Livebardon, a student at the center, will share her extensive knowledge with us.
“These four workshops will have a progressive focus and will focus on meditation, which is part of the spiritual journey of yoga.”
Marie-France will draw on ancient texts, particularly the “Yoga Sutras of Patanjali” (Frans Moors, ed.) and the Cahiers de Présence d’Esprit (Cahiers of Presence of Mind); “Patanjali and the Yoga Sutras” (Jean Bouchard d’Orval, ed.) and the Yogi Bible, also cited by B.K.S. Iyengar. “Light on Yoga” (B.K.S. Iyengar, ed.) and Harper Collins paperback.
These workshops will cover: Reflections on the concept of meditation. The approach to the philosophy of yoga. A progressive approach and reading of Patanjali’s Yoga Sutras. The practice of pranayama, which encourages meditation. An approach to mantras, which facilitates a meditative state. A 20- to 30-minute meditation practice.
– The price is €80 for the four sessions or €25 per session –
A few words about our speaker: Marie-France has been practicing psychiatry and analytical psychotherapy since 1989. She is trained in perinatal haptonomy and mindfulness meditation used in therapeutic settings. Beyond her scientific training, Marie-France has always been drawn to spirituality, which has influenced her journey since early childhood.
In 1975, she began practicing Zazen meditation and Hatha yoga, taught by Sokou Fujisaki. In 1980, during her first trip to India, she was introduced to Hindu meditation (Shaivite lineage) by Swami Muktananda and stayed several times in ashrams where she practiced yoga, recited mantras, and studied sacred texts, including the Vedas and the Bhagavad-Gita. Following the birth of her daughter in 1999, she took a break from yoga and began training at the IFY (French Institute of Yoga) in 2019 with François Lorin and Ludovic Borrel, graduating in 2023. She was introduced to Viniyoga (based on the teachings of D.K.V. Desikachar) and to the Yoga Sutras of Patanjali.
In 2020, she met Cathy Boyer in Montpellier and discovered Iyengar Yoga, whose rigor and precision she appreciated. She has continued to practice with Ophélia Oullié in Menton since 2023, with great pleasure.
